Head to the Library for “Garden Perspectives.” Miss Bobbi will teach about “Perspective” in art and help you to create your own art scene. Register to ensure you will have a spot; things could get messy, so dress accordingly.

Join us at the Parkland Mall for our annual story stroll. Walk the mall and enjoy the story "Plant the Tiny Seed" as you go! Our librarians will be on site on Tuesday April 22 from 10am to 3pm to distribute literacy kits and answer your library questions, but the story stroll will be available all week.

Join Mrs. Coralee for preschool stories, songs, crafts, and play time this spring! There is no cost and all preschool children and their parents/guardians are welcome. Our children's room is available afterwords for continued reading and play.

While school is out children and families are invited to come to the library for a screening of the family-friendly film The Wild Robot. Movie theatre popcorn and juice is provided!

Come to Yorkton Public Library to celebrate everyone's favourite book series, Dog Man by Dav Pilkey. The morning activities from 10:30-12:00 will be open to everyone. Drop in for crafts, games, and puzzles. The Dog Man movie screening will be from 1:00-2:30 and open to everyone. Popcorn and juice provided! The afternoon from 3-4 will be registration only with a limited number of spots. We will have Dog Man trivia, scavenger hunting, bingo and more. Registration opens on April 7th.

HEY! Teens, young adults, adults, yes everyone! Do you want to learn how to play Canasta? This card game is fun for everyone and we will take the time to teach you all the basics and get you started on your way to this and other card games such as “Hand & Foot” Snacks and beverages will be available to keep you energized as you play.

Are you ready for a Lifesize Game of Snakes and Ladders? Bring the whole family to join us for the fun of being the actual Meeple pieces working your way up the board to 100. Our second Murder Mystery Evening will include a potluck supper while we get to know each other as members of the Easter Bunny Crew. Celebrate a successful Easter Season 2025 but remember…. Some-bunny is going to die and everyone is a suspect. Register and choose your character and potluck item at the Yorkton Public Library by Saturday, April 26, 2025. Costumes are optional but will certainly add to the fun. Who did it? Will you figure it out?
