Author: Richard W. Doornink

Book: "1967 a coming of age story" Richard W. Doornink lived in Yorkton between 1966 and 1969.  "1967" is a strongly written, moving account of a young boy taking his first steps to independence and true sense of self. Set in a small prairie town over a one-year period, the book provides a wonderful portrait of a time and place long gone. Free and open to the public.
